Global 6K for Water
THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE. Join thousands of people across the globe in our mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world.
Walk, run, or roll with us at the World Vision Global 6K for Water. Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child, like the child on your race bib!
Why 6K? It’s the average distance people in the developing world walk for water every day.
Registration fee: $50 for adults and $25 for kids.

Nearly 4,000 people, more than 1,000 of whom are children under 5, die every day from diseases related to lack of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. 703 million people lack basic drinking water access, about one out of every 11 people on the planet.
The global water crisis disproportionately impacts women and girls; according to the WHO, in sub-Saharan Africa alone, women and girls spend a cumulative 250 million hours every day hauling water. On average, they walk 6 kilometers each day to haul 44 pounds of water.
But we believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes. $50 provides clean water to one person in need and when you register for the Global 6K for Water you’ll provide clean water to one person through your $50 registration fee ($25 for kids)!
Since 2011, World Vision has helped establish lasting access to clean water for 34.4 million people, improved sanitation for 27.7 million, and supported hygiene behavior change for 42.7 million, all with your support through programs like the Global 6K for Water.
**Online registration closes May 10, walk-up registration will be available day of event.**
