When life gets tough and troubles and pain come, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. We want to come along side you and be the hands and feet, the eyes and ears, and the loving arms of Jesus. That’s why we have Support Groups, to care for your soul. They’re a safe place where you can get guidance and wisdom, heal, and discover hope for the future.

Grief comes in many forms and everyone has some type of loss whether it be a person, pet, relationship, or anything of value. Finding validation and compassionate support can be challenging. When it is compounded with other external matters, it only complicates the process even more. Dr. Paul Lenderman, a Certified Grief Counselor and Thanatologist, has been working in pastoral care and bereavement support for over 25 years. After the tragic passing of his younger brother, Mark, he founded “Mark Ministries” to bring hope to the community through the outreach programs of grief counseling, spiritual guidance, and music therapy. He also officiates around 120 memorial services each year. Contact Dr. Paul: 805-245-1644. This Grief Care group by Dr. Paul, will provide a better understanding of our personal loss and the tools to navigate the bereavement journey. This ongoing support group meets at Crossroads every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 5pm. No sign up required.
