New Ministry Planning Form

Thanks for stepping up and wanting to lead a new ministry here at Crossroads! Before we can start planning and launching a new ministry, we need some information from you. We’re looking for this information because we’re not a small church and we have finite resources and time, but we want to help you do good Kingdom work.

This form is important for us to gauge a couple things: whether or not this is in keeping with Crossroads mission and vision, and confirming that we can do this well with the resources we have.

There are a few things to keep in mind as you and your staff lead fill this out:

Crossroads’ mission and vision is to help people connect with God and one another, grow to be like Jesus, and go, serving Him by serving others. Everything we do gets funneled through that vision and if something doesn’t serve it, it isn’t something we do.

Sundays are paramount at Crossroads. Without them, none of our other ministries end up functioning because Sundays are how we bring people in. Because of that, we encourage everyone at Crossroads to serve at least one Sunday a month.

We want to empower our volunteers to become leaders. Staff simply cannot – and should not – do everything at Crossroads. If we start a new ministry, we want our staff people to be a resource to you to make sure that it not only launches successfully, but is sustainable, fruitful, and working in concert with everything else going on. So we may be asking for a little bit of patience as we work with and around other ministries. Please know that we want to help you and everyone else do Kingdom work.

When you and your staff lead have completed this, we’ll look it over and discuss what we can do. We’re excited and we hope you are too!
